Bacio del Sole was created as an interpretation of the Italian aperitivo culture, inspired by long summer evenings, coastal towns, shared tables, and the romance of Mediterranean life. More than a drinks brand, the project set out to capture a feeling: the warmth of the sun, the energy of gathering together, and the effortless glamour associated with the Italian way of living.
The visual identity drew inspiration from vintage Italian travel posters, mid-century advertising, and the vibrant colours found throughout the Italian coastline. Warm yellows, sun-faded oranges, rich blues, and playful typography were combined to create a brand that feels nostalgic yet contemporary, balancing heritage with a modern sense of fun and spontaneity.
Alongside the brand identity, the website and menu design were developed as extensions of the same world. Rather than treating the menu as a simple list of drinks, it became part of the storytelling, using colour, typography, and illustration to reinforce the atmosphere and personality of the brand. Every touchpoint was designed to immerse customers in the experience, creating a visual language that felt joyful, romantic, and unmistakably Italian.
The result is a brand rooted in the spirit of the Italian summer. Bright, expressive, and full of character, it captures the essence of aperitivo culture while creating a distinctive identity that feels both timeless and contemporary.
