Brand Identity 

Con Amore is a Jersey-based importer connecting local restaurants, cafés, and independent retailers with carefully sourced food and drink from Italy. Founded through a partnership between Jersey and Italy, the business acts as a bridge between trusted producers and the Channel Islands hospitality industry.

The identity was inspired by the rich history of Italian commercial art and advertising. Long before modern branding became commonplace, Italian food producers were creating bold, characterful packaging and illustrated posters that celebrated regional products with confidence, colour, and personality. These historic references became the foundation of the visual direction.

Rather than recreating vintage aesthetics, the aim was to reinterpret them for a contemporary audience. Bright, expressive colours, playful illustration, and distinctive typography were developed to capture the energy and warmth of traditional Italian branding while feeling fresh, modern, and commercially relevant.

At the heart of the project was the idea of provenance. Just as Con Amore carefully curates products from trusted producers, the brand itself was built from authentic cultural references and a deep appreciation for Italian food heritage. The result is a visual identity that feels vibrant, approachable, and full of character, balancing tradition with a contemporary sense of optimism and joy.
